Child Safe Policy & framework

Magic Photography Pty Ltd is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children. We operate under a Child Safe Policy aligned to the eleven Victorian Child Safe Standards and Ministerial Order 1359. Highlights:

• Every photographer and assistant holds a current Victorian Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Reportable Conduct procedure with a named Child Safety Officer
• Photographer briefings every six months on child-safety updates
• Never alone with a child: our team always works in sight of your educators
• Image access strictly limited to enrolled guardians

Insurance

Magic Photography carries:

• $10,000,000 Public Liability Insurance — covering our work end to end

A current certificate of currency is provided to every centre and school we work with, on request.

Working With Children Check

Every photographer and assistant who works in your centre or school holds a current Victorian WWCC. Their names, check numbers and expiry dates are listed in our compliance pack.

Privacy & data handling

We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles. Specifically:

• Images are held on highly encrypted, access-controlled servers
• Galleries are password-protected and accessible only to your enrolled family
• Your photos stay available for reorders until you ask us to delete them, and we delete them straight away
• We never sell, license or share family contact data
• Children's images are never used in marketing without separate written consent

Terms & conditions

By making a purchase through magicphotography.com.au or store.magicphotography.com.au you agree to our Terms of Sale. Highlights:

• 7-day refund on prints: post them back (return postage is yours) or send us a photo showing they've been destroyed
• Downloaded digital files can't be refunded, but we'll always replace a faulty file
• Prints shipped within 15 working days of order
• Digital files delivered immediately on payment
• Printing errors and faulty products are always reprinted, replaced or refunded

Reportable Conduct procedure

Magic Photography has a documented Reportable Conduct procedure aligned to Victoria's Reportable Conduct Scheme, now overseen by the Social Services Regulator. Any concern raised by a child, family, centre or staff member is investigated within 24 hours and reported to the authorities as the law requires.
